Nursery Graduation 2020
Here is our Nursery Graduation Video 2020. We are so proud of all of the children and how far they have come. We will miss them all but know they are more than ready for the next step of their journey, starting school in September. Well done everyone!
Stay and Play
It was wonderful to welcome families into nursery for stay and play. The children loved having the chance to show them around, play with them and even show off their dough disco moves. The children are so settled and happy in nursery and it was lovely to share this with everyone who came.
Autumn in Nursery
This week in nursery we have been learning all about autumn. The children have hunted for leaves and signs of autumn outside, using their observation skills and discussing what they had found using the language of colour and size. Our carrots were ready to harvest so we used these to make a carrot cake. The children peeled and grated the carrots themselves, using tools safely. They measured and mixed the ingredients and decorated it when it was ready. They really enjoyed eating it and trying something new. We have also planted some spring bulbs; the children can’t wait to watch these grow!
Goldilocks and the Three Bears
The children have enjoyed reading the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. They have retold the story, acted it out, made beds for Goldilocks and made and tried porridge.
