Introduction

Our SEN Information Report – which is part of Durham County Council’s Local Offer – provides details about how we support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in our school.

The SEN Information Report was reviewed and updated on  27th October 2021.

At Cockton Hill Infants’ School our vision is to be a school that everyone feels welcome in.  We have a clear focus on all children reaching their full potential.  We promote inclusion and strive to find ways to remove all barriers to learning.  We believe in working in partnership with parents to support them, and to enable their children to achieve their potential.  We work strongly with other agencies to provide a positive and inclusive education for all children, including those with a special educational needs or disability.

This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.
